Inauguration & Commitment​

Following the enactment of the Enugu State Electricity Law in September 2023, the state government appointed four Commissioners in January 2024. Confirmed by the Enugu State House of Assembly in March 2024, the EERC is now fully operational and dedicated to providing improved electricity access for all citizens of Enugu State.
